Iruksan

Iruksan - original gel with collagenase, used to help heal wounds, prevent scarring during the healing stage, enzyme therapy of pathological scars

Iruksan gel composition:
1g of gel contains: collagenase, at least 70 KLA (collagenase active units).
Excipients:
miramistin, polyethylene glycol 400, polyethylene glycol 1500, poloxamer 188, cetyl stearyl alcohol, purified water.

Collagenase - a natural enzyme that promotes the breakdown of necrotic tissues and the rapid cleansing of wounds from purulent-necrotic contents. Does not affect healthy tissues and granulation. Collagenase also promotes the breakdown of "excess" collagen in the process of scar formation and already formed scars.

Miramistin - modern antiseptic with a wide spectrum of action, effectively fights infection in the wound and prevents re-infection. The modern gel base moisturizes the wound, improves tissue oxygenation, accelerates healing and the formation of a normal scar.

Mechanism of action:
Collagenase is one of the most powerful proteolytic enzymes with a specific effect on collagen fibers - the main structural element of connective tissue. Collagenases are the only enzymes capable of specifically recognizing native collagen and hydrolyzing it.

The main effects of the enzyme Collagenase

Deep hydrolysis of pathological collagen.
Destroys deformed collagen fibers until completely dissolved, effectively relaxing fibrous microknots and micromodules.
Specificity.
Showing high specificity of action, it hydrolyzes collagen and does not affect other substrates: it does not affect intact epithelium, adipose and muscle tissue.
Neocollagenesis.
Stimulates the synthesis of new collagen, restoring the skin's framework.

Method of application

Wounds
The gel is applied topically. The amount of gel for one application is set individually, as it depends on the area of the affected area.
Before applying the gel, the wound must be treated, removing purulent contents - rinse with hydrogen peroxide solution and antiseptic (it is recommended to use Miramistin solution).
If there is extensive tissue necrosis, surgical removal of some of the necrotic tissue by a specialist may be necessary.
After treatment with an antiseptic, apply a thin layer of gel in an amount corresponding to the size of the affected area. Cover the wound with a sterile gauze napkin. Apply once a day, in the presence of a significant amount of exudate - twice a day.
Gel application Iruksan promotes effective cleansing of infected wounds from purulent-necrotic contents without affecting healthy tissues; prevents drying of the wound without creating an occlusive effect (does not block oxygen access to the wound, allowing it to "breathe"), accelerates healing processes and prevents the formation of pathological scars.

Scars and cicatricial changes
Apply a thin layer to the scarred area 2 times a day until the gel is completely dry.
If necessary, you can put a gauze napkin on top. Duration of use 30 - 40 days.
The use of the gel showed high effectiveness. Iruksan in a complex of physiotherapeutic procedures (phonophoresis) - a significant effect is noticeable after the first procedures: reduction of the size of the scar and cosmetic defect, increased elasticity, elimination of such pathological effects as pain, redness, itching in the scar area, feeling of "tightness" of the skin, increase in the amplitude of movements if the scar is located in the joint area.

Proven effectiveness:

Wound cleaning:
The gel effectively cleanses infected wounds of purulent-necrotic contents, helping to eliminate harmful bacteria and the threat of infection..
Preservation of healthy tissues:
When applied, the gel does not affect healthy tissues, which helps to avoid additional damage..
Prevention of pathological scarring:
