Indications
Escherichiose-enterococcal bacteriophage is shown for ingestion and topical use in acute, prolonged, delayed, chronic and recurrent diseases caused by Escherichia coli and/or enterococci, by self-use, especially in cases- against hospital strains), as well as in combination treatment, including - simultaneously with the use of antibiotics, or for prevention:
— In intestinal dysbiosis and intestinal flora biocenosis, caused by non -enzyme, lactose -negative and/or hemolytic Escherichia coli and excessive amounts of enterococci;
— in purulent-inflammatory processes associated with bacteria of the genus E.coli та/або Enterococcus:
■ in the nasopharynx (rhinitis, including bacterial-associated allergic rhinitis, pollinosis, vasomotor rhinitis, inflammation of the sinuses of the nose, sore throats, pharyngitis);
■ in the mouth (stomatitis, glorify);
■ in ears (middle ear inflammation, hearing aisle dermatitis);
— gums and teeth (gingivitis, periodontitis);
■ in the eyes (purulent conjunctivitis, keratoconjuxt, purulent ulcers of the cornea and iridocyclitis);
■ in the respiratory tract and lungs (laryngitis, tracheitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, pleurisy, infectious-allergic form of bronchial asthma), including for bronchial washing during bronchoscopy;
■ in the urogenital system (urethritis, cystitis, pyelonephritis, colitis, endometritis, salpingoophoritis, balanopostitis, prostatitis);
— pyelonephritis of transplanted kidneys, especially in cases caused by hospital strains of E. coli and enterococci;
— in purulent-inflammatory diseases of bones, joints and ligaments (osteomyelitis, bursitis, purulent arthritis, including postoperative and after joint transplantation);
— in bacterial toxicoderma (erysipelas, atopic and other variants of dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, etc.);
— in surgical infections (suppuration of wounds, postoperative complications, burns, abscesses, phlegmon, gangrene, trophic ulcers mainly lower extremities, recurrent cysts of coccyx, paraproctitis, etc.);
— in purulent-inflammatory diseases of newborns (omphalitis, dacryocystitis, pyoderma, including generalized pyoderma of the head, conjuxtic, gastroenterocolitis, sepsis, etc.);
— other diseases caused by or as a medicinal infections by the bacteria of the genus E.coli та/або Enterococcus.
Features of application
Before using the preparation, it is advisable to determine by bacteriological examination the sensitivity of the pathogen to the Escherichiose-enterococcal bacteriophage of Primafag.
Before use, the preparation must be shaken!
Do not use when turning!
Do not use for parenteral injections!
When opening the vial, selection and storage of the preparation, you must follow the following rules:
— Wash your hands thoroughly;
— protective cap before removal should be treated with alcohol -containing solution;
— the protective cap to remove without removing the rubber plug;
— the preparation from an open vial to select a sterile syringe (by puncture of rubber tube), when using small doses of the preparation it is necessary to use a new sterile syringe with a needle for each selection of the preparation;
— if the plug was removed when opening the vial, it is not necessary to put it on the table with an inner surface;the bottle should not be left open;it should be closed after a preparation selection;
— closed vial should be stored in the refrigerator!
Since the preparation is stored in the refrigerator, then before use the preparation in the syringe after selection from the vial should be brought to room temperature.
In compliance with the above rules, reservations and storage conditions and in the absence of opacification, the preparation from the open vial can be used throughout the shelf life.
The method of application and dose
● Before applying a bacteriophage, a doctor's consultation or advice is recommended.
● In intestinal forms of the disease and dysbiosis of the intestine of staphylococcal etiology, they take inside 3-4 times a day for 30-45 minutes before meals, depending on age: adults-15-20 ml, children from 3 years-10-15 ml, children under 3 years-5-10 ml (1-2 teaspoons).
Locally used in the form of irrigation, lotions, rinsing, infusion, washing, instillation, tamming, turund, applications, etc.within 10-20 days depending on clinical indications:
— In purulent-inflammatory diseases in the nasopharynx (rhinitis, including bacterial-associated allergic rhinitis, pollinosis, vasomotor rhinitis, inflammation of the sinuses of the nose, sore throat, pharyngitis), the preparation is injected at a dose of 1.0–2.5 ml (depending on the age of "cuckoo").
— In the treatment of stomatitis, glossitis, gingivitis and chronic generalized periodontitis, the preparation is used in the form of mouth rinses 3-4 times a day at a dose of 10-20 ml, holding a phage solution in the mouth for 10-15 minutes, and also make applique on the area of gums or ink..
— In conjunctivitis, the preparation is purchased 2–3 drops 4–5 times a day, with keratoconjuxtivitis and purulent ulcer of the cornea - 4–5 drops, with purulent iridocyclitis, the preparation is used 6-8 drops every 3 hours in combination with intrudal intake.
— In purulent-inflammatory diseases of the ear (otit), dermatitis, itching and boils of auditory passages, used bacteriophage of turunda for 15-20 minutes in the morning and evening.
— In recurrent cystitis, the preparation is administered by instillation into the bladder.If the bladder or renal pelvic cavity is drained, the bacteriophage is injected through a cystostomy (into the bladder) or nephrostomy 1-2 times a day for 20–50 ml.
— In purulent-inflammatory gynecological diseases, the preparation is injected into the vaginal cavity, the uterus after rehabilitation with a tampon for 20-25 minutes, spreading the tampon with the preparation until fully leaked (to the first drop).
— In abscesses and treatment of open wound surfaces, the bacteriophage is injected into the cavity after removal of pus by means of puncture, or by applique to the wound surface after its preliminary rehabilitation with disinfectant solutions.Doses of the preparation are determined by the nature of the foci of infection and make up from 15-20 ml (for infusions into the wound with osteomyelitis) up to 100-200 ml for administration into the cavity (pleural, peritoneal, foci after removal).
